100% Cabernet Franc, fermented and aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Nose: fig, raisin and sweet cedar. Taste: dark fruit, fig, cocao powder and dark earth. Medium body, with mid-tongue peppery feel.
Commemorative Cabernet (Cabernet Sauvignon)

Designed as part of Virginia Wine Board's commemoration of the Civil War Sesquicentennial. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Fermented and aged in French Oak, luscious and yet lean. Nose: blackberry, cherry and eucalyptus. Taste: currant, black cherry, sage and leather, with subtle touches of oak on the finish. Will age well.
Merlot
2008
95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged approximately 10 months in one year old French oak barrels. Nose: dark fruit highlighted by black cherry and blackberry. Taste: black cherry, boysenberry and mocha. This wine is full bodied, making it an age-worthy red. Unfiltered.
Woodland Red SEASONAL
A blend of white merlot and cabernet sauvignon (~4% residual sugar). Nose: cranberry, earlthy notes and fresh raspberries. Taste: slightly sweet with hints of cranberry jam and a touch of dark chocolate.
