Designed as part of Virginia Wine Board's commemoration of the Civil War Sesquicentennial. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Fermented and aged in French Oak, luscious and yet lean. Nose: blackberry, cherry and eucalyptus. Taste: currant, black cherry, sage and leather, with subtle touches of oak on the finish. Will age well.
