Merlot (2007)
SILVER MEDAL - VA STATE FAIR
95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged approximately 10 months in one year old French oak barrels. Nose: black cherry and cranberry. Taste: medium-bodied, with supple cherry and cinnamon flavors. This wine has a strong tannin structure, making it an age-worthy red. Unfiltered, with a chalky tannin finish.
Cabernet Sauvignon (2006)
90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc. Aged 11 months in French
oak barrels. Nose: black cherry, cedar and violet. Taste: dried cherries,
eucalyptus, vanilla and green pepper. Medium body.
Cabernet Franc (2007)
100% Cabernet Franc, fermented
and aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Nose: fig, raisin and sweet cedar.
Taste: dark fruit, fig, cocao powder and dark earth. Medium body, with mid-tongue
peppery feel.
Woodland Red (2008)
SOLD OUT
A blend of white merlot and cabernet sauvignon (~4% residual sugar).
Nose: cranberry, earlthy notes and fresh raspberries. Taste: slightly sweet
with hints of cranberry jam and a touch of dark chocolate.
